Meet Aubrie Saige A Young Rising Equestrian

Aubrie is a dedicated young girl who is training to accomplish her goal to become an Olympic medalist.

Girly

I am 15 years old, so incorporating things that showcase who I am into my riding is important to me. I really love pink and anything that sparkles. It started with my horse Prue only wanting to be caught with a pink halter. I have really come to love pink and I try to present both pink and sparkle in the outfits or horse equipment I use. This is my honor to Prue.

Hard Working

I have been working at several farms to help pay for my own horse while working with 5 different trainers to further my equine skills in numerous ways. I also have been part of the Sheboygan County 4H, and the English Drill team. I strive to do well in schooling as this is a crucial aspect of my future also.

Brave

It can be hard to keep going when you have experienced set backs that are both physical and mental. I have experienced my horse flipping and overcoming that returning to the very show grounds where she flipped along with a severe concussion that I suffered giving me Post Concussive Disorder which took me out of riding for almost 5 months..

Determined

Dressage is one of the most challenging forms of riding that I have encountered. I enjoy many forms but it is the challenge that keeps me going. I have to do a lot of work mentally, physically outside of my riding times and sessions. I have overcome many challenges to be here this far.

Transparent

I have learned that I need to be transparent for my best and for others. This means when I do not understand something I need to be able to ask and sometimes advocate for myself when I am trying something and it does not always work. Communication is a huge portion of the career I want to go into and I am trying to practice it daily as I go on this journey. I am still learning and can be shy at first.

Talented

I believe some talent is natural, where others is well earned. I can tell you that I have a natural seat, timing, and understanding with horses. Even with all of that, I know in order to accomplish my dreams, being natural is not enough. I have worked hard to pursue my skills and increase my talent through riding between 5-7 times a week and working with several trainers in different disciplines.

Aubrie has a personal goal to lead the way for bringing pro-horse into all aspects of equine sports.

Riding Portfolio

Aubrie has a unique gift to embrace being girly with grace and intuition to each equine interaction.

Aubrie is a naturally talented rider who brings compassion, kindness and strength into her riding. She rides with flair and passion in every ride.
