Become Acquainted With Aubrie
Aubrie started riding while she was in her mother’s womb. She came out loving horses and riding as soon as her mother could papoose her, putting Aubrie on her back while riding her wild mustang - Freedom. It is believed this has given Aubrie a distinct advantage towards her goals by giving her natural timing, balance, and feel. Things that cannot always be taught.
As Aubrie grew older she was always surrounded by horses in one way or another through people they knew, lessons and family. Aubrie started in lessons periodically focusing on English and Western Pleasure. In time, lessons became more of a focus for her so she slowly backed out of other sports to start pursuing horseback riding further.
As her passion grew, more lessons, combined with working at barns Aubrie decided to start expanding her knowledge into Dressage, Classical Dressage, Stadium Jumping, Pleasure Riding, Saddle Seat, Ranch Riding, Showmanship, Trail, Discipline Rail, Showmanship, Barrel Racing and many other disciplines of horse back riding. Her hunger only grew deeper with each exploration. One day, she saw the Junior Olympics on television and decided this is what she wants to accomplish.
If you know anything about Aubrie, she is a dedicated, passionate individual. As she set this goal for herself, it was like the stars aligned. She met a 9 time Grand Prix Winner & Trainer at a clinic she was riding in and everything clicked for her. She found Dressage to be extremely challenging, which only made her want to learn it more . As she continued to go deeper in learning, she realized that Dressage applies to all other disciplines of horseback riding, can improve horses body and health when done correctly and could even elongate the life of horses.
With this knowledge Aubrie put an increased meaning into what she was learning wanting to establish herself as an future Olympic rider to further the Equine community - make positive impact out of the negative experiences she’s encountered. She wants to then take that knowledge and transfer it to other riders and horses.
Aubrie wants to change the dynamic of the equine community from harsh training tactics into building positive training methods for horses. She has seen proof time and time again that horses are often misunderstood and with a little bonding and patience that incredible things happen when given the chance for a horse to teach us.
